Rulebooks for my AI assistant

I may not know all the details behind it, but I know just enough to use it in practice.

The problem

I do a lot of research with an AI assistant, Claude. Out of the box, it’s pretty bad. It kept repeating the same mistakes. It kept getting hyperfixated on a single piece of information. It kept referring to old, outdated information. So I got tired of it.

What I did

I created a bunch of rulebooks, guidelines and skills. I found a lot of plugins and mods which I can utilize for my setup, and I learned to configure Claude. I helped others build their own setups. Overall, it is a very nice assistant, and I’m very happy with its performance. But whenever it comes to any more advanced tasks, it’s still pretty bad.

What came of it

One of the tools I created was a Prompt Crafter, which helps me adjust my prompts. I learned the process of using AI: how to use it, the basics. I’m still learning how it works on a technical level, but I know what comes of it in practice.
